Bio:
Memy Ish-Shalom is a sculptor working in clay, bronze, resin, stone, and wood. In 2014, after a 30-year career in technology, he transitioned fully into sculpture, dedicating himself to his art practice.
His work has been exhibited in museums and included in more than 60 group exhibitions and solo shows, receiving several awards along the way. His sculptures are held in both public and private collections. Two of his large granite works are part of the permanent “New Art Archeology” collection at the YV Art Museum in Acton, Massachusetts.
Ish-Shalom is represented by Blue Raven Gallery in Rockland, Maine, and is a member of Galatea Fine Art Gallery (SoWa), the New England Sculptors Association, and the National Sculpture Society.
