Bio:
Katelyn Hudson, D.Arch, Ph.D., is a faculty member at Vermont Technical College, a designer/drafter at Cushman Designer Group, and an MFA student at Northern Vermont University. She grew up in Vermont attending summer art camps, and although her academic and professional path focused on architecture and architectural history, creative expression remained central throughout. She earned degrees from Vermont Technical College and The School of Architecture (Taliesin, formerly the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture), and completed her Doctor of Architecture at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Katelyn’s recent Ph.D. from Bond University in Australia focused on biophilic design in extreme environments, exploring human dwellings in Antarctic surroundings through extensive graphical representation. Her professional work includes sustainable residential design, educational and civic facilities, and historic preservation.
