Bio:
Jack Howard-Potter is a sculptor specializing in figurative steel sculpture. Born in New York City, he graduated from Union College in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts, where he completed his thesis on figurative steel sculpture. Following college, Howard-Potter worked with a blacksmith creating furniture, served as a teaching assistant at the Art Students League of New York City, and contributed to the Tribeca Film Festival.

His sculptures are exhibited in permanent and long-term collections, sculpture parks, municipalities, and galleries throughout the United States. In 2021, he completed The 1958 Championship Game for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio—a monumental 30-foot-tall steel sculpture depicting football player Raymond Berry. Howard-Potter’s practice is informed by movement, anatomy, and performance, including his studies of ballet and dance. He currently serves on the boards of the Art Students League and the Scripps Howard Foundation.
