Bio:
Peter Dellert is a sculptor, furniture maker, and collage artist based in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Drawing inspiration from nature and biomorphic forms, he creates sculptures from an eclectic mix of materials such as tin cans, tree branches, steel rebar, stainless steel, Spanish cedar, grapevines, concrete, plastic decking, and recycled automotive catalytic converter covers. His work has appeared in notable exhibitions including Sculpture Key West (FL), Contemporary Sculpture at Chesterwood (Stockbridge, MA), Sculpture New Hope (PA), Art in the Park (Worcester, MA), Mohawk Hudson Regional (Albany, NY), Art in the Orchard (Easthampton, MA), and Sculpture Now at The Mount (Lenox, MA).

In addition to numerous museum and gallery shows nationwide, Peter has held solo exhibitions in Kyoto, Japan, and throughout the Northeast, including UMass Amherst, Chatham NY, Northampton MA, and Brattleboro VT. He also teaches sculpture and was the featured instructor at the North Country Studio Workshops in Bennington, VT in January 2020.
