Bio:
Joel Olzak is a sculptor, book, and action artist whose work explores the evolution of human civilization, our integration with the natural world, and the potential paths forward. Favoring natural and sustainable materials, Joel emphasizes traditional craftsmanship as a means to inform and shape a more responsible and connected future.

His work has been shown in group exhibitions at The Dorsky Museum, Woodstock Artists Association and Museum, Unison Arts Center, The Widow Jane Mine, and The Teaching Gallery at HVCC, as well as the “Best of SUNY” shows in 2018 and 2019. He has also participated in pop-up shows at Art Omi in Ghent, NY, and in London.

He holds a BFA in Sculpture from SUNY New Paltz and an AS in Fine Arts from Hudson Valley Community College. Joel lives and works in Nassau, NY.
