Bio:
Argentinian American artist Silvina Mizrahi, currently based in Boston, integrates her dual cultural influences into an interdisciplinary practice grounded in the belief that art is a powerful tool for connection, healing, and the celebration of diversity. Born and raised in Argentina, she creates work across a wide range of media, including figurative bronze sculpture, abstract expressionist mixed-media painting, sculptures made from recycled materials, and participatory public art installations. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally at venues including the Jerusalem Center for Performing Arts, Museo Timoteo Navarro in Argentina, Arco Baleno in Uruguay, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Maison de l’Argentine in Paris, and the Argentine Consulate in New York. She is currently a Selected Artist at Cove Gallery in Wellfleet, Massachusetts. Her honors include awards from the Copley Society and the Thomas Menino Art Center, recognition as one of the "100 Most Influential People for the Latino Community in Boston" by El Planeta in 2017, and grants from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the New England Foundation for the Arts in 2023.
