Bio:
Philip Marshall is a painter and sculptor based in Massachusetts who was born in rural East Kent, England. A lifelong creator, Marshall is particularly drawn to public art for its freedom of scale and its ability to serve as “gateway art” for audiences who may not regularly visit galleries or museums. While he occasionally accepts painting and sculpture commissions, his primary focus in recent years has been creating outdoor sculptures for temporary public exhibitions throughout New England.

Inspired by his varied life experiences, extensive world travels, and encounters with people from diverse backgrounds, Marshall creates work that reflects curiosity, storytelling, and a connection to shared public spaces.
