Bio:
Charlie Smith is a lifelong resident of the Northeast (with a few years spent in New Orleans) and has built his career in both the arts and education. He currently teaches ceramics and graphic design at New Hampton School in New Hampshire while pursuing an MFA in Visual Art at Clark University.

Alongside his teaching and graduate studies, Smith maintains an active studio practice in ceramics. His interests extend beyond the studio into hiking, music, and literary influences such as the haikus of Jack Kerouac, which inform the poetic and material sensibility of his work.
