James Shay is a sculptor, printmaker, and DJ based in North Bennington, VT. His creative practice bridges visual and auditory forms, as seen in his recent sound sculpture Ancestors of the Right Rhythm Speak, presented at the International Society for the Study of Surrealism's centennial conference in Paris. He has exhibited in the North Bennington Outdoor Sculpture Show and the Valley Artisans Small Print Show, and continues to explore the intersections of surrealism, sound, and sculpture.
