Gregory Didyoung is a sculptor, muralist, and former photojournalist whose recent work focuses on reimagining and recycling discarded materials. Using found metal items—such as cutlery, tools, and scrap—Gregory creates figurative compositions, particularly birds, which he finds both accessible and symbolically rich. Originally trained as a 2D illustrator and muralist, he transitioned naturally into 3D work, drawing on his mechanical upbringing. A graduate of Kutztown University in Pennsylvania, Gregory now produces intricate sculptures that reflect his fine art background and commitment to sustainability.
